The Château Barouillet has been in the same family for 8 generations. Located in the heart of the Begeracois region, in Pomport in the Dordogne, the estate covers 45 hectares spread over 5 islets: 20 hectares in Monbazillac, 9 in red Bergerac, 5 in Pécharmand, 9 in dry Bergerac and 1 in Côtes de Bergerac. Château Barouillet's natural wines have gained in precision, while retaining the gourmet character that so enthrals us in this area. The wines offer excellent value for money and are fine representatives of South-Western wines! The estate has been certified organic since 2010.

Returning to the family estate in Pomport in 2009, he decided to stop bulk sales and start marketing the wines himself in 2010, writing a new page for the estate. Having traveled the world, he decided to claim the Bergerac, Pécharmant and Monbazillac appellations. Now certified organic, the wines are fruity and elegant in Bergerac, more structured in Pécharmant. Year after year, he gains in precision while maintaining his ideal of respect for the materials, working in particular with indigenous yeasts. These bottles offer excellent value for money."

Château Barouillet cuvées

Bergerac rouge is a fruity, full-bodied Bergerac. Bergerac blanc is a fruity, rounded dry white, with notes of white fruit and apples.

Larcin is a more powerful, sometimes animal Bergarc: it needs air or time to express itself.

Red Pécharmant is more accessible in youth: intense and prodond, it's an expression of fruit, resting on silky tannins.

Monbazar is a Monbazillac gourmand: you bite into the fruit and appreciate its controlled sweetness!
