The Domaine Chaume-Arnaud is a family-run winery located in Vinsobres, in the southern Rhône Valley. It is run by the couple Jean-Pierre and Françoise Chaume-Arnaud, who took over the family business in 1983.
The Chaume-Arnaud estate cultivates 10 hectares of vines, spread over a plateau of rolled pebbles at an altitude of 400 meters. The vines are planted with 40% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 15% Cinsault and 15% Mourvèdre.
The wines of Domaine Chaume-Arnaud are appreciated for their finesse, complexity and fruity character.
The estate's flagship cuvée is Vinsobres Rouge, a dry red wine made from a blend of grenache, syrah, cinsault and mourvèdre. This wine is characterized by its red and black fruit aromas, silky tannins and long finish.
The estate has been certified organic since 2003. The vines are worked with horses. Vinification is carried out without the use of synthetic chemicals.
