Château Revelette

Chateau revelette in a few words....

The chateau Révelette is located on 24 hectares of vines divided into 12 parcels situated between 330 and 400 m above sea level. Nine grape varieties are grown on this château with its continental climate: cold winters and hot, dry summers.

The organic wines produced by Château Révelette are imbued with this sunshine: they are demonstrative and warm, like the winemaker who shapes them, Peter Fisher!

The treatments are carried out with very low doses of copper, trace elements, nettle and horsetail purin, seaweed juice and sulfur.

Guides talk about it better than we do.

2-star estate in the Guide des meilleurs vins de France 2019: "Located in a cool terroir on the heights of the appellation in the commune of Jouques, next door to Chateau de Vignelaure, this sumptuous estate has been in the hands of the talented Peter Fischer since the 1985 vintage. The cuvées of Château Revelette

The red Château Révelette is made from 50% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, just like the Grand Vin. The Grand Rougemerits several years of cellaring (6-7 at least) to develop its full complexity.

As for the whites, Château Révelette is made from 40% ugni blanc, 35% rolle and 25% sauvignon blanc, while the Grand Blanc is made from chardonnay aged in vats, tuns and barrels. Château Revelette's white can be enjoyed with vegetable tians, but also with rock fish. Bolder and more powerful, the Grand Blanc du Château Révelette should be reserved for fish in sauce and white meats.
