Domaine François Villard - Vin de France - The contours of Deponcins 2023

In black and white from the Domaine de Clovallon reveals an expressive nose, dominated by notes of red berries, citrus zest and white flowers. The palate is elegant and silky, with lovely freshness and a subtly spicy finish. Its versatility makes it an excellent choice to accompany fusion cuisine dishes, white meats or mature cheeses.

La Brune is a recent cuvée at Mas Jullien. This racy, powerful cuvée develops notes of red and black fruits enhanced by spices. A superb suavity flatters the palate, ripe fruitiness, beautiful depth, set with silky tannins for a finish that lingers.

Clots de Pals rosé from Domaine des Homs is a gourmet organic rosé: it develops on notes of red fruit and reveals itself to be endowed with a lovely fresh finish. A versatile, all-round rosé, from aperitifs to grilled meats.

The Seul en Scène cuvée from domaine François Villard is a superb discovery. On the nose, the wine is an explosion of violets, directly announcing the Syrah. This is followed by notes of ripe fruit such as cherry and jammy strawberry. The palate is tender and suave with young but already velvety tannins.
