This wine develops lemony notes on the nose; on the palate its citrus and exotic fruit aromas will whet your taste buds. Domaine François Villard is one of the elite of Rhône Valley wines. A former chef, François Villard, whose vineyards will be certified organic in 2019, produces wines from the northern Rhône Valley with a focus on finesse. Here, the emphasis is not on opulence, but on good ripeness without heaviness, creating wines with length and uprightness, while respecting the fruit. "Just because the troublemaker François Villard doesn't take himself seriously doesn't mean we shouldn't treat his work with the attention it deserves.
