Clos des mêts d'âme

Le Clos des Mets d'âme in a nutshell....

When Céline Oulie of Clos des Mets d'âme revisits Madiran, we're thrilled! With Les Sens de la vie, this young winemaker produces a fruity, supple Madiran to delight the taste buds. The softness of the tannins and the intense fruit that emerge from this bottle make it a priority to discover!

Le Clos les Mêts d'âme is a recent South-West estate run by 35-year-old Céline Oulié. A fervent advocate of biodynamic viticulture, Céline owns a real farm of around twenty hectares, where she practices mixed farming. She owns around 5 hectares of vines (in addition to a lake, ponds and sheep) in the Mardiran and Pacherenc AOCs. Her first wines are a great success: they have great definition and elegance. The white wines are matured in ovoid vats, and the reds in truncated-cone tuns. Everything is done to respect the fruit as much as possible. Sulphur doses are kept to a strict minimum. Le Clos les Mêts d'âme is an estate that is bound to make a name for itself very quickly.
