A few words about the Oratoire Saint-Martin estate

Most of the Oratoire Saint-Martin estate is located to the northeast of the commune of Cairanne, 200 meters above sea level on steep hills in an area commonly referred to as "la montagne". These are the LES DOUYES and SAINT MARTIN districts. The steepest slopes require the use of caterpillar tractors. These terroirs, which include Haut Coustias, are reserved for Grenache and Mourvèdre, the latter requiring more sunshine due to its late ripening.

The Domaine de l'Oratoire Saint-Martin vineyard covers 25 ha in the commune of Cairanne alone. The domaine's strength lies in its high percentage of old vines (over 40 years old), some of which are a hundred years old. For the reds, the vineyard is mainly composed of grenache noir (approx. 60%), mourvèdre (the domaine's favorite grape variety, 30%), syrah (10%) and old varieties such as counoise, vaccarèse and muscardin. For the whites, these are mainly marsanne, roussanne, clairette and grenache blanc.

The Domaine de l'Oratoire Saint-Martin is organically farmed and produces some of the region's most accomplished natural wines.

Les cuvées du domaine de l'Oratoire Saint-Martin

The Reserve des seigneurs cuvées are greedy and fruity. The Reserve des seigneurs white is fragrant and fresh, while the red is gourmand with silky tannins.

Haut Coustias rouge is more powerful and structured, requiring a few years of cellaring to blossom.

Haut Coustias blanc is a great, rich, gastronomic white with great length!
