Clos Maïa is situated between 4 and 5 meters above sea level and rests on complex soils of limestone schist clay ruffes and pebbles on the slopes of the Larzac foothills. As with the rest of the Terrasses du Larzac, the wide temperature range between day and night favors slow, gradual ripening of the grapes, keeping the wines balanced and fresh.Clos Maïa covers five hectares, with Grenache, Syrah and Terret used to produce the reds, and Roussane, Terret Bourret and Chenin for the whites.
