Clos Maïa Blanc 2024 is the only white cuvée from Clos Maïa— "a great white wine, precise and refined" according to wine enthusiasts who have followed Géraldine Laval since her early days.
Pale yellow color with silvery highlights. Delicate nose of white flowers (acacia, hawthorn), citrus, candied lemon, vine peach, fennel, and chalky mineral notes. Fresh, briny, and deep on the palate, with excellent drinkability. Serve between 10 and 12 °C.
Chenin, Grenache Gris, Roussanne, and Terret Bourret—blend varies by vintage, Lilian Bérillon mass selections. Limestone scree, Larzac plateau, organic and biodynamic. Hand-harvested into small crates, direct pressing, 24-hour settling by gravity, fermentation and aging for 12 months in demi-muids.
Best enjoyed within 3 to 5 years, though it can be cellared longer.
