Géraldine Laval brilliantly manages Clos Maïa, located on the exceptional terroir of the Larzac terraces. Clos Maïa is situated at an altitude of 4 to 5 meters and rests on complex soils of limestone, schist, clay, ruffes, and pebbles on the slopes of the Larzac foothills. As in the rest of the Terrasses du Larzac, the significant temperature variation between day and night promotes slow and gradual ripening of the berries, allowing the wines to retain their balance and freshness.Clos Maïa spans five hectares, planted with Grenache, Syrah, and Terret for the reds, and Roussane, Terret Bourret, and Chenin for the whites.
