The Clos du Calvaire red is a magnificent Châteauneuf-du-pape: a full, generous wine with aromas of cherries, violets and spices. The palate is suave and balanced, with persistent tannins and notes of ripe fruit. This cuvée shines for its fruit finesse and harmony on the palate.

Here's a very pretty organic Lalande-de-Pomerol in a very successful 2020 vintage. The château des Annereaux produces a wine with a fruity, harmonious attack. The elegant tannins are well-integrated and silky. The aromatic palette is marked by fruitiness and a restrained, mellow woodiness. Good length. An elegance and balance rare in modern Bordeaux. We love this lacy wine.

This 1er cru Langenberg 2023 from domaine Marcel Deiss is a superb success. Nose of lemon, grapefruit and white flowers (lily of the valley, elderberry), light mineral touches spice up the bouquet, the palate is airy and subtle, like an aromatic cloud, leaving on the finish a sensation of salinity so characteristic of the granite terroirs of St Hippolyte. The wine is fuller and more complex than a simple Riesling St Hippolyte; the material is more subtle and bounces back with little acidic, tonic twitches.

Le Roucas, a red cuvée from the domaine Hauvette, features 60% Grenache. More accessible in youth than the estate's other red cuvées, Roucas develops on notes of thyme, mint and cherries. The finish is always fresh and elegant. Light decanting and serving at 15-16° is recommended. A great bottle from Baux de Provence.

Burlenberg 2019 from domaine Marcel Deiss is a wild, full-bodied wine with a fruity (black raspberry, blackcurrant, blackberry), spicy (nutmeg) and smoky nose. A magnificent Riesling Vendanges tardives from the Marcel Deiss estate at full maturity: the sweetness of the wine is counterbalanced by the minerality of the riesling. The whole is sumptuous and very elegant. A great bottle to enjoy with pan-fried foie gras, for example.

The Pinot Blanc du domaine Ginglinger is a complex blend of different parcels of pinot blanc and pinot auxerrois from various Eguisheim lieux-dits: Langrod, Bachtal, Klein Krumling, Lang Striebicher and Bodenacker. The golden auxerrois grapes give the wine a frank, pronounced fruitiness and fullness on the palate, while the pinot blanc adds freshness, liveliness and a hint of citrus. The bouquet of this pinot blanc is pure and spring-like, blending pear, lemon, fresh hazelnut, vanilla and white flowers. The balance on the palate is dry, articulated around suave, crisp flesh and invigorating freshness. A great charmer that goes well with a wide range of dishes.

This Zellenberg cuvée from domaine Marcel Deiss is endowed with lovely energy. The nose develops notes of yellow fruit. The palate is dense, mineral and structured with fruity notes. Elegant, long and saline finish. Radiant!Guide des meilleurs vins de France 2022 : 93/100
