Mantoulan is the name of a locality 500 m to the east of Clos Lapeyre. It's an old, renowned wine-growing area that has been replanted at high density with traditional Jurançon grape varieties from massal selection: Petit Manseng, Courbu and Camaralet. The palate is beautifully expressive, with aromas of buttered apple, quince, white peach and a touch of fresh pineapple. Nice saline finish.
