Domaine d'Aupilhac, Languedoc La Boda Red 2022: an organic and biodynamic red wine, balancing freshness and power

The Boda Red 2022 is the flagship red wine from Domaine d'Aupilhac, in Montpeyroux, within the Languedoc appellation. It is a wine produced using organic and biodynamic farming methods, a blend dominated by Syrah and Mourvèdre, complemented by Carignan.

The Wine

Sylvain Fadat founded the estate in 1989 with his wife, Désirée, at the foot of the garrigue, between the sea and the hills of Languedoc. The grapes are harvested by hand. The reds are aged in large oak vats and barrels, then bottled unfiltered. La Boda is a Languedoc wine that combines the freshness of the terroir with beautiful power, harmony, and character.

Tasting Notes

The nose blends red fruits and spices with woody notes. On the palate, the wine combines the freshness of the terroir with a certain power, resulting in a wine of character, better suited for the dinner table than as an aperitif.

Serving and Food Pairings

Serve at cellar temperature. It pairs well with red meats, lamb, game, and aged cheeses.
