The Chablis 1er cru La Fourchaume du domaine Pommier is a very great Chablis 1er cru. On the nose, this organic Burgundy wine has an elegant aromatic bouquet, developing on notes of white-fleshed fruit such as pear and peach, delicate floral nuances and a subtle mineral touch, typical of Chablis. On the palate, the attack is lively and fresh, with a mineral texture that lends the wine a fine length on the finish.
CloseThis 1er cru Langenberg 2022 from Domaine Marcel Deiss is a superb success. Nose of lemon, grapefruit and white flowers (lily of the valley, elderberry), light mineral touches spice up the bouquet, the palate is airy and subtle, like an aromatic cloud, leaving on the finish a sensation of salinity so characteristic of St Hippolyte's granite terroirs. The wine is fuller and more complex than a simple Riesling St Hippolyte; the material is more subtle and bounces back with little acidic, tonic twitches.
CloseThe Clos des Grives blanc du Domaine Combier cuvée is a grand blanc de gastronomie from the Rhone Valley. Rare and ambitious, this cuvée possesses beautiful chewiness and plenty of freshness. It reveals woody, white and yellow fruit notes. A long, lingering finish!
