A rarity in the Gaillac region.The Domaine Plageoles produces some of the most original organic wines in the South-West. Since 185, Domaine Plageoles has been producing Gaillac wine from local grape varieties such as Mauzac and Ondenc for white wines, and Duras, Braucol and Prunelart for reds. He has given a new lease of life to old grape varieties to perpetuate the Gaillac vineyard tradition.Le domaine Plageoles works its vines in a totally natural way, and does very little sulfuring of its wines. The cuvée Tradition du Pin des Marguerites is a lovely, supple Saint-Chinian. This organic wine from a fresh schist terroir develops garrigue and red fruit notes, with smoky touches. Supple tannins on the palate. Fresh, balanced finish!

Clos Baquey is the grand cuvée of the domaine Elian Da Ros. This 2021 is a fresh, elegant vintage, in line with the 2017, all finesse and complexity. This Clos Baquey will evolve favorably over 10 years, but is ready to be enjoyed now. The tannins are round and of great quality; the wine develops on spicy and fruity notes.

The Croisée du domaine de la Cotelleraie is a full-bodied, gourmand, fleshy organic wine, with present but pleasant tannins. At last, a Saint-Nicolas de Bourgueil with substance, body and fruit. Good cellaring capacity for this bottle, which we recommend drinking after 3 or 4 years of cellaring.
