Le Clos Béru is a monopole of the Château de Béru, isolated for its distinctive qualities by a fortified wall since the 13th century. The wines produced from this parcel continue to shine with their exceptional power, roundness and minerality.Guide des meilleurs vins de France 2020: 17.50/20 Located in the foothills of the slopes sheltering the Chablis grands crus, the Béru vineyard is fully in line with the history and great tradition of winegrowing Burgundy. Château de Béru cultivates a group of parcels located on the finest terroirs of the Chablis region in the Chablis and Chablis Premier Cru appellations. At the heart of the estate lies Clos Béru, a unique terroir enclosed by historic walls built in the 13th century. Since 2005, Château de Béru has been committed to organic viticulture, and in 2011 to biodynamic viticulture. Thanks to rigorous observation of disease symptoms in the vineyard, and the sparing use of natural substances such as sulfur and herbal teas, the vines are protected while gradually strengthening their natural defenses.
