Domaine Idylle Cruet - Savoie - Alpine Jacquère 2024

The Château Yvonne red is a great Saumur - Champigny, with great delicacy, fine tannins and great elegance. It features notes of red fruits and has a good ageing potential of around ten years. Bravo.

Brise Cailloux is a magnificent Cornas from Domaine du Coulet. Matthieu Barret produces a digestible, complex wine here, with floral, spicy and blood orange notes. Superb!

Clos Baquey is the grand cuvée of the domaine Elian Da Ros . This 2020 is a very fine vintage, full of power and complexity and with a little more freshness than 2018. This Clos Baquey will evolve favorably over 10 years, but is ready to be enjoyed now. A red Côtes du Marmandais with round, high-quality tannins; the wine develops spicy, fruity notes. A great wine from the Elian Da Ros estate, spearheading this southwestern AOP.

The Cuvée Longchamp from domaine de Verpaille is a Viré-Clessé with power and roundness. This organic wine has a nose with notes of chevrefeuille and aniseed. On the palate, the velvety texture is well balanced by a mineral note. A light vanilla frame completes the aromatic palette of this wine.

Chateau du Hureau's Cuvée Argile is a magnificent Chenin from Saumur. This organic Loire wine develops notes of green apple, but also citrus (lime), a touch of honey with a lovely minerality. The palate is both full-bodied and straightforward, a great success!

The Chablis 1er cru La Fourchaume du domaine Pommier is a very great Chablis 1er cru. On the nose, this organic Burgundy wine has an elegant aromatic bouquet, developing on notes of white-fleshed fruit such as pear and peach, delicate floral nuances and a subtle mineral touch, typical of Chablis. On the palate, the attack is lively and fresh, with a mineral texture that lends the wine a fine length on the finish.

This Puligny-Montrachet 1er cru la Garenne du domaine Jean-Marc Boillot is a grande gastronomie Burgundy. This wine is full of youthful energy with a striking perfume of lemon sorbet and a touch of fresh lime. Its naturally fresher position allows it to focus on fresh citrus and a less exotic touch with a chalkier texture. Very mineral on the nose and rather expressive, it presents lovely fruity flavors on the palate, with good persistence and a taut finish.
