Cerasuolo di Vittoria, the first and currently only DOCG in Sicily, has a strong, ancient tradition and owes its identity to the combination of the strength of Nero d'Avola and the sweetness of Frappato. It's a complex, long and elegant wine, which develops on notes of spice and red fruit. The structure is there, but the tannins are silky, as with all the wines in the range. This estate follows the principles of organic viticulture, obtaining grapes and wines that express the nature and character of the soil. We were particularly taken with the reds, which have a Burgundian touch in the refinement and elegance of the bottles, the rosé for its complexity and the whites for their freshness. A real favorite.
