The Domaine d'Ouréa, founded by Adrien Roustan, cultivates its vineyards using organic and biodynamic farming methods at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail. Les Vignes du Parc 2025 is its red wine made from old vines in the Vacqueyras appellation, in the Rhône Valley. It exemplifies the fresh elegance of the high-altitude terroirs of the South.
This cuvée comes from old vines in Vacqueyras, planted on pebbles and blue and yellow clays and marls. Grenache dominates the blend. The wine is aged in concrete tanks, without new oak, to preserve the purity of the fruit and its freshness.
The color is ruby, medium-intensity, and transparent. The nose evokes wild strawberries, raspberries, rose hips, and violet flowers, with subtle spicy notes. The palate is balanced and fragrant, with notes of rose and licorice. The texture is silky, with pronounced freshness, good structure, and fine tannins.
Serve it between 14 and 16 °C, optionally after decanting. It pairs well with a slow-cooked lamb stew, pink-roasted duck breast, sautéed lentils with herbs, Mediterranean cuisine, and aged cheeses.
