Domaine Paul Ginglinger Alsace - Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Pfeisisberg 2021

Domaine Ginglinger's Grand Cru Pfersigberg can undoubtedly be considered one of Alsace's finest terroirs for Gewurztraminer. A great Pfersigberg Gewurztraminer shines first and foremost through the brilliance and purity of its fruit, mostly exotic fruit. The structure on the palate then plays on elegance, freshness and controlled power.Guide des meilleurs vins de France 2019 : 16/20 Close

Domaine Paul Ginglinger Alsace Riesling - Riesling Grand Cru Pfersigberg 2021

This Grand Cru Pfersigberg from domaine Paul Ginglinger is a great gourmet wine. Here, Riesling wines take on an assertive character, a blend of fruity expressiveness and elegant structure. In fact, the magic works, between the airy, delicate quality conferred by the thin, fine-textured soils, and the rich underlying constitution provided by the hard Muschelkalk limestone that is present in the form of pebbles on the surface as well as at depth

Domaine Marcel Deiss Alsace 1er cru - Engelgarten 2023

This 1er cru Langenberg 2023 from domaine Marcel Deiss is a superb success. Nose of lemon, grapefruit and white flowers (lily of the valley, elderberry), light mineral touches spice up the bouquet, the palate is airy and subtle, like an aromatic cloud, leaving on the finish a sensation of salinity so characteristic of the granite terroirs of St Hippolyte. The wine is fuller and more complex than a simple Riesling St Hippolyte; the material is more subtle and bounces back with little acidic, tonic twitches.
