The Pinot Noir Les Rocailles 2023 is the great red cuvée from Domaine Paul Ginglinger - a parcel selection from vines in direct contact with the marl-sandstone bedrock of the Mittlerer Eich locality, in the heart of the Grand Cru Eichberg in Eguisheim. Small, concentrated berries, rich in color and fine tannins, hand-harvested, partially destemmed, vatted for 2 to 3 weeks, certified organic. Full-bodied, racy red with great finesse and freshness. Goes well with game, lamb and rib of beef.

The Riesling Grand Cru Eichberg 2024 is the most ambitious Riesling from the Domaine Paul Ginglinger - a single plot on the Hinterer Eich locality, in the heart of the "montagne aux Chênes" in Eguisheim, facing due south on the deep marls and sandstone scree of the Eichberg. Certified organic, hand-picked, slow fermentation in the cellar over several months, aged on fine lees. Dry, powerful, broad and complex, candied citrus, peach, imposing minerality. Keep for 10 years.

The cuvée Rotenberg from the domaine Marcel Deiss is a soft, fruity, seductive, lemony and vibrant dry wine. Made from riesling and pinot, it combines the structure of pinot with the straightforwardness of riesling. A superb success!

This 1er cru Langenberg 2023 from domaine Marcel Deiss is a superb success. Nose of lemon, grapefruit and white flowers (lily of the valley, elderberry), light mineral touches spice up the bouquet, the palate is airy and subtle, like an aromatic cloud, leaving on the finish a sensation of salinity so characteristic of the granite terroirs of St Hippolyte. The wine is fuller and more complex than a simple Riesling St Hippolyte; the material is more subtle and bounces back with little acidic, tonic twitches.

A magnificent Riesling Vendanges tardives from the Marcel Deiss estate at full maturity: the sweetness of the wine is counterbalanced by the minerality of the riesling. The whole is sumptuous and very elegant. A great bottle to enjoy with pan-fried foie gras, for example.

Burlenberg 2019 from domaine Marcel Deiss is a wild, full-bodied wine with a fruity (black raspberry, blackcurrant, blackberry), spicy (nutmeg) and smoky nose.
