The domaine des Closiers is located in Parnay, in the heart of the Saumur Champigny appellation. Closiers were the winegrowers who worked in the vineyards and lived in troglodytic dwellings at the foot of the hillside. The estate covers 15 hectares of clay-limestone soil. The vines have an average age of 35 years. Set on the slope of a limestone cliff overlooking the Loire, the estate's plots express all the richness and nobility of the Saumur Champigny terroir. The domaine is advised by Michel Chevré and Nady Foucault: you can already see the touch of this great winemaker in the wines: finesse, elegance and that magical infused style!
