Magnificent Rully 1er cru from domaine Jean-Marc Boillot, both rich and chiseled. A superb, flattering white burgundy, with buttery, yellow-fruit notes.
Jean-Marc Boillot learned the trade under Olivier Leflaive as a cellar master before striking out on his own in 1985, gradually building his estate in Pommard. He brings with him a prestigious legacy: his maternal grandfather was none other than Étienne Sauzet, a legendary figure in Puligny-Montrachet, from whom he inherited exceptional vineyards. The estate now spans 11 hectares spread across Meursault, Pommard, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet, Beaune, and Volnay—and is now supported by his daughter Lydie and son-in-law François, who are carrying on the tradition with the same high standards.
Historically, the estate has also made a name for itself in the Côte Chalonnaise with the Rully 1er Cru and the Montagny 1er Cru, produced through a bespoke wine-trading operation: rigorously selected purchases of grapes and musts, vinified with the same care as the great appellations of the Côte de Beaune. This dual expertise—as a winemaker on his own terroirs and a discerning négociant in the Côte Chalonnaise—enables Jean-Marc Boillot to offer a Rully that is both accessible and representative of his style: fruity, full-bodied, with that toasty signature that has made his reputation.

The Bourgogne blanc du domaine Jean-Marc Boillot has a seductive nose with tasty fresh fruit. On the palate, it develops notes of vanilla and spice, complemented by a refreshing mineral touch. Quite chiseled with a little biscuity touch on the lingering finish.
CloseThe Pommard En Boeuf du domaine Champy has a frank nose of raspberry and blackcurrant. On the palate, the tannins are very fine, far from the tannic power of some wines of the vintage. It's essential to decant this wine while it's still young for it to reveal all its complexity.
CloseAn exceptional Pouilly-Loché produced by the Clos des Rocs, between minerality and aromatic complexity: a gourmet organic wine to drink over 10 years. What a bottle!
CloseThis Montagny 1er cru du domaine Jean-Marc Boillot is a white Burgundy coup de coeur! The nose has character notably on verbena, pure white fruit on the palate, with a saline touch although the fruit is ripe, and a fresh apricot note.
CloseThe Macon-Village du domaine Jean-Marc Boillot is a superb white Burgundy. The nose is seductive and this Mâcon shows itself to be rather elegant with notes of pear and peach. Tonic attack but rather fat and round texture.
CloseA great white Burgundy this Meusault from domaine Jean-Marc Boillot. The nose evokes ripe white fruit with nectarine and candied citrus as well as notes of white flowers. On the palate, a subtle duo of sweet wood spices and minerality. Natural richness with a certain unctuousness and great mineral persistence.

CloseThis Puligny-Montrachet 1er cru la Garenne du domaine Jean-Marc Boillot is a grande gastronomie Burgundy. This wine is full of youthful energy with a striking perfume of lemon sorbet and a touch of fresh lime. Its naturally fresher position allows it to focus on fresh citrus and a less exotic touch with a chalkier texture. Very mineral on the nose and rather expressive, it presents lovely fruity flavors on the palate, with good persistence and a taut finish.
