Domaine Mirabel in a few words
The Domaine Mirabel is run by the Feuillade brothers, Samuel and Vincent, who work the 14 ha or so of the estate together. Domaine Mirabel is located on the best terroirs at the northern limit of the Pic Saint-Loup appellation area, on a terroir of limestone scree slabs stretching between Corconne and Brouzet-les-Quissac. The estate's wines possess a balance and freshness that are all too rare in this appellation. Elegance and finesse are the watchwords of this little-known domaine. The wines of Domaine Mirabel are allocations: they are therefore not available all year round!

The Domaine Mirabel cuvées
The Mirabel estate has several cuvées:
Le Languedoc blanc "Loriot": the white is vinified in barrels and aged in vats. This organic Languedoc has lovely fruit, lots of freshness and precision. It's a blend of viognier (60%) and roussanne (40%).
Le Languedoc "Les Bancels": situated in the mid-range, "Les Bancels" comes from terroirs located in the commune of Brouzet-les-Quissac outside the Pic Saint Loup appellation. It's a powerful, spicy organic wine with good length.
The Pic Saint Loup "Le Chant du Sorbier": A superb Pic-Saint-Loup, full of balance and gourmandise. Fresh and elegant, it is a model for the rest of the appellation. This cuvée gives pride of place to Grenache and Mourvèdre, complemented by Syrah.
Le Pic Saint Loup "Les Eclats": this is the grand cuvée, dominated by syrah, combined with grenache, mourvèdre and cinsault. It's an organic wine made for laying down. This cuvée develops roundness and power, with fruity (black fruit) and spicy notes. A great Pic-Saint-Loup for gourmets.
