The Domaine Pins des Marguerites is a family-run winery located in Berlou, in the Saint-Chinian appellation of the Languedoc-Roussillon wine region in southern France. The domaine is known for its biodynamic, terroir-driven wines, made from grapes grown on its 12 hectares of vines.
The Pins des Marguerites estate was created in 2005 by Richard Carpena, who took over the family business. The estate's vines are planted with a blend of grape varieties, including grenache, syrah, mourvèdre and carignan, which thrive in the region's warm Mediterranean climate and schist soils.
The estate produces a range of wines, including reds, rosés and whites. Red wines are known for their rich, complex aromas of black fruit, garrigue and spice. Rosé wines are fresh and fruity, with aromas of red fruits and flowers. White wines are mineral and elegant, with aromas of white fruits and flowers.
Here are some of the organic wines from Domaine Pins des Marguerites:
Horizon: A blend of grenache and mourvèdre, this wine is full-bodied and complex with aromas of black fruits, garrigue and spices.
Tradition: A blend of grenache, syrah and mourvèdre, this wine is medium-bodied and fruity with aromas of black and red fruits.
