Chateau Les Hauts de Caillevel, located in the heart of the Bergerac appellation, is a renowned wine estate that combines tradition and modernity. This family-run estate, deeply attached to its terroir, has established itself as a benchmark in organic and biodynamic viticulture.

For several decades, the estate has been crafting elegant red, white and rosé wines, highlighting the pure expression of regional grape varieties. Thanks to meticulous work and a respectful approach to nature, each cuvée embodies the perfect balance between freshness, aromatic intensity and finesse.

The Château Les Hauts de Caillevel extends over 23 hectares of vines located on the clay-limestone slopes of the Dordogne valley, benefiting from a climate ideal for viticulture.

The Bergerac appellation enjoys a temperate oceanic climate, with continental influences that enable gradual, even ripening of the grapes. Summers are hot and sunny, while cool nights preserve the acidity and aromatic complexity of the wines. The clay-limestone soils, mixed with gravel, offer a diversity that favors the production of rich, well-balanced wines. This unique terroir enables grape varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon to reveal their full potential.

Committed to a certified organic approach, the estate also applies biodynamic practices that enhance the expression of the terroir and preserve biodiversity.
