The Domaine Marcel Deiss is one of the most renowned estates in Alsace. Jean-Michel Deiss has chosen to highlight the terroirs of Alsace through mixed-varietal vineyards. Here, there are no single-varietal wines, but rather blends of grape varieties from a very specific terroir. An original approach, yet one that proves incredibly compelling when you taste the wines from Domaine Marcel Deiss. The estate practices organic farming. It is one of the region’s leading producers. A must-try at least once in a lifetime. Guide to the Best Wines of France 2022: 3 stars, highest rating

This 1er cru Langenberg 2023 from domaine Marcel Deiss is a superb success. Nose of lemon, grapefruit and white flowers (lily of the valley, elderberry), light mineral touches spice up the bouquet, the palate is airy and subtle, like an aromatic cloud, leaving on the finish a sensation of salinity so characteristic of the granite terroirs of St Hippolyte. The wine is fuller and more complex than a simple Riesling St Hippolyte; the material is more subtle and bounces back with little acidic, tonic twitches.
CloseA lovely Riesling from domain Ginglinger, fresh and fruity, in pure house style. A perfect definition of this varietal.
CloseThe cuvée Drei Exa from Domaine Ginglinger refers to its village of origin, Eguisheim (Exa) and the three castles overlooking the village. Riesling Drei Exa is a blend of very fine, predominantly limestone-sandstone parcels adjoining Grand Cru Pfersigberg in the Wettolsheimerweg, Dreistein and Sundgass districts. This dry Riesling is characterized above all by its finesse and elegance. The bouquet offers a delicate fruitiness that asserts itself with age. The balance on the palate is long-lined, characteristic of great terroirs with predominantly limestone.
RVF: "Drei Exa is a fine reference for lovers of dry Riesling"
CloseThis pinot noir tradition du domaine Stoeffler plays the red berry card. Light, airy and aromatic, it features morello cherry and blackberry notes. Versatile, it can be enjoyed with charcuterie, white meats and even fish.
