Quintaine 2024 is the historic vintage from Domaine Guillemot-Michel: a biodynamic Viré-Clessé, a Chardonnay made from old vines (55 to 60 years old) around the hamlet of Quintaine.
White flowers, ripe citrus, chalk; full-bodied and silky on the palate, with a mineral edge.
Peak in 2030.
2024 is a fresh, late-harvest vintage with great vibrancy. The wine is already very enjoyable, showcasing the floral and exotic notes of its youth, with a dynamic, briny finish.
The vines, ranging from 55 to 60 years old, surround the hamlet of Quintaine, between Viré and Clessé. The soils consist of Jurassic limestone, with white marl and clay. 100% Chardonnay.
Biodynamic farming since 1991, hand-harvested, indigenous yeasts, extended aging on lees, minimal sulfur.
Peak drinking in 2030. Its freshness makes it ideal with fish, shellfish, and fresh or aged cheeses.
Pierrette Michel and Marc Guillemot, joined by their daughter Sophie and her husband Gautier, cultivate 6.5 hectares of Chardonnay. Discover the Guillemot-Michel Estate and our Viré-Clessé.
