Produced from the oldest plots and aged in oak barrels, this cuvée offers great aromatic complexity carried by a firm, yet very silky structure. Full-bodied and long on the palate, with a lovely freshness. This is a great Régnié that can be enjoyed immediately on the fruit, but which will reveal many other facets over the course of its 15 years of ageing.

The cuvée Essencial rouge du domaine des Schistes is from a terroir of schist marl slopes and clay-limestone plateau in the commune of Tautavel. The wine is quite expressive with notes of black fruit and zan. The palate is smooth, well-balanced and quite complex: spices (pepper) mingle with black fruits (blackberry). Good length. Good value for money.

La Soie rouge du Chemin des rêves is a magnificent Pic-Saint-Loup. It has an intense, complex nose, with aromas of jammy fruit, spices (nutmeg, cloves) and roasting. On the palate, it's opulent, silky and licorice-flavored. It goes well with tasty meats: leg of lamb cooked in rosé, duck with honey and spices, capon with chanterelles.

Utopie 12 du Chemin des rêves is wine declined as Vin de France because of its originality. The nose is toasty, developing aromas of macerated fruit and notes of undergrowth. The attack is frank, and the palate is tannic, powerful and complex, made for ageing. The finish is smoky. A superb success!
