The chateau Yvonne was created in 1996; it occupies a total area of 2.5 hectares spread over the communes of Parnay and Montsoreau.Chateau Yvonne is a dynamic estate that excels in the Saumur and Saumur-Champigny appellations, in both white and red. Organic vineyard management at château Yvonne produces lively, rich and expressive organic wines. Controlled ageing provides the wine with excellent support. A sure value in the saumurois. The Pinot Blanc du domaine Ginglinger is a complex blend of different parcels of pinot blanc and pinot auxerrois from various Eguisheim lieux-dits: Langrod, Bachtal, Klein Krumling, Lang Striebicher and Bodenacker. The golden auxerrois grapes give the wine a frank, pronounced fruitiness and fullness on the palate, while the pinot blanc adds freshness, liveliness and a hint of citrus. The bouquet of this pinot blanc is pure and spring-like, blending pear, lemon, fresh hazelnut, vanilla and white flowers. The balance on the palate is dry, articulated around suave, crisp flesh and invigorating freshness. A great charmer that goes well with a wide range of dishes.

This is one of the fine cuvées from Château Yvonne in white that has made the estate's letters of nobility. In 2022, the wine is rich with notes of citrus and yellow peach. The woodiness will mellow after a few years of cellaring to give this great wine its full complexity.

In a superb 2023 vintage, château Yvonne has produced a superb cuvée La Folie. The wine is rich, with very intense fruit. As always with this cuvée, we recommend decanting 2 hours before tasting, or storing for 3 to 5 years in a temperature-stable, high-hygrometry cellar.
