Hélène and Guillaume Barron have been running Clos de la Barthassade since 2014, a vineyard they created in Aniane, in the heart of the Terrasses du Larzac, next to the famous Grange des Pères. Having worked with Sylvain Pataille in Burgundy, this talented winemaking couple produce fresh, easy-to-digest wines that are surprisingly well-balanced for the region. The Clos de la Barthassade vineyard is farmed organically, and certain tasks are carried out according to the biodynamic calendar.11 hectares of vines are currently planted in several communes, including Montpeyroux, Jonquières and Saint-Saturnin. Everything is done here to develop life in and out of the soil."
