CloseLes Ouvrées du Clos de la Barthassade is a wine for great ageing, to be drunk over 10 years! Made from 50% Syrah, this wine is aged for 20 months in demi-muids, barrels and concrete eggs. The nose is already open, with notes of black fruit, spices and a hint of menthol. The palate is full-bodied, long and complex, with diabolical balance. It develops on notes of black fruit, roasting and spices, finishing on balsamic notes. A magnificent cuvée that rivals the appellation's best. Magnificent!
