Les Gravettes du Clos de la Barthassade is a superb Terrasses du Larzac, predominantly Grenache. Fruity and greedy, this organic wine with silky tannins develops on notes of black fruits, sweet spices. Drink over 5 to 7 years!Since 2014, Hélène and Guillaume Barron have been at the helm of Clos de la Barthassade, a vineyard they created in Aniane, in the heart of the Terrasses du Larzac, next to the famous Grange des Pères.Having made their range notably with Sylvain Pataille in Burgundy, this talented winemaking couple produce fresh, easy-to-digest wines, surprisingly well-balanced for the region. The Clos de la Barthassade vineyard is farmed organically, and certain tasks are governed by the biodynamic calendar.le Clos de la Barthassade currently covers 11 hectares of vines in several communes, including Montpeyroux, Jonquières and Saint-Saturnin. Everything is done here to develop life in and out of the soil." Clos de la Barthassade takes its name from the Occitan "bartàs" meaning "bush, scrub" and refers to the dense woodland bordering our plots in Montpeyroux." - Hélène & Guillaume Barron

CloseHere's a very pretty organic Lalande-de-Pomerol in a very successful 2020 vintage. The château des Annereaux produces a wine with a fruity, harmonious attack. The elegant tannins are well-integrated and silky. The aromatic palette is marked by fruitiness and a restrained, mellow woodiness. Good length. An elegance and balance rare in modern Bordeaux. We love this lacy wine.
