Clos du Calvaire - Chateauneuf-du-Pape - red 2023

On this brand-new Touraine-Chenonceaux appellation, the Clos Roussely produces a superb 100% sauvignon dry white. Very refined, elegant and airy, this white will go very well with seafood, fish and goat's cheese platters... Very elegant, with good volume in this 2023 vintage, this is a superb wine.

The Cuvée Tradition Blanc from domaine Richeaume is a magnificent expression of Provencal white grape varieties, composed mainly of Rolle (Vermentino) and Roussanne. This organic white wine is distinguished by its freshness and minerality. On tasting, it reveals aromas of white-fleshed fruits such as peach and pear, combined with floral notes and a hint of honey. On the palate, Cuvée Tradition Blanc offers lovely roundness and balanced acidity, with an elegant finish.

Le Roucas, a red cuvée from the domaine Hauvette, features 60% Grenache. More accessible in youth than the estate's other red cuvées, Roucas develops on notes of thyme, mint and cherries. La cuvée Terres de la Crau du Clos du Calvaire is a parcel-based cuvée from the estate. It presents a varied palette of blackberry, rose and spice aromas. The palate is generous, with ripe black fruit aromas, coated tannins and a chocolate finish. A concentrated, generous wine that aptly highlights the terroirs of La Crau.

A pure, balanced white with a vibrant style that perfectly highlights the richness of the appellation's terroirs. The nose reveals aromas of white flowers and lime blossom. On the palate the aroma tends towards honeyed mint, and lime.

The cuvée Père Pape du Clos du Calvaire is made from old vines planted in the northern part of the appellation and offers a varied aromatic palette with notes of red fruits, laurel and spices. The palate is full, fresh and racy. Père Pape reflects the terroirs of Châteauneuf du Pape with finesse and precision.
