The P'tit Derna is the gateway to the world of Domaine de Dernacueillette. A wine for enjoyment and sharing, ready to drink now, that encapsulates Guillaume Boussens’s philosophy in a single bottle: fruit, freshness, and authenticity. No artificial additives. No added sulfites.
A blend of Syrah, Carignan, and Grenache from organic vineyards at Domaine de Dernacueillette, located between 360 and 690 meters above sea level on the Termenès terroir. The varied soils—magnesian schist, ferruginous schist, and clay-limestone—and the high-altitude continental climate naturally impart freshness and structure. Vinified without any added sulfites or oenological additives, variety by variety in small concrete tanks. Hand-harvested in October.
Color: intense red with purple and violet highlights.
Nose: expressive red stone fruits, subtle notes of morello cherries, and mild spices.
Palate: soft and fruity, with a burst of fresh red fruit on the attack, a beautifully supple mouthfeel, and a fresh, savory finish. Fine, well-integrated tannins. Highly drinkable despite its high-altitude character.
Serving: at 14°C, in large glasses with a thin rim to allow the aromas to open up.
Light grilled dishes, cold cuts, white meats, pizza, Mediterranean dishes. Perfect as an aperitif or with a casual meal. Best enjoyed now while it’s young and fresh.
