This organic Jasnières from Domaine de la Roche Bleue has a clear, limpid color. The nose is ripe, developing notes of candied pear and minerality. Domaine de la Roche Bleue is a small estate of 7 hectares, but big in terms of the quality of its wines. Yields here are very moderate, at around 30 hl/ha, and the estate is farmed organically, with a biodynamic approach. Domaine de la Roche Bleue is located in the northernmost appellations of the Loire Valley: Jasnières and Coteaux du Loir. Sébastien Cornille, the winemaker, is originally from Sancerre. Balance is sought right from the vineyard, with harvesting at just the right ripeness to conserve aromatic potential and obtain dynamic, precise wines, without losing the expression of terroir. A superb discovery!

This organic Chinon is well-balanced, with lovely intense fruit and a tangy finish; all resting on fine tannins.
CloseL'olivette du Clos Marie is a very pretty Pic Saint Loup. The wine is elegant; it develops on notes of reglisses, black fruits. The wine deserves a few months' cellaring to soften and refine its tannins. A benchmark AOC Pic Saint Loup.
