Marcel Lapierre's Morgon is a benchmark in Beaujolais, with notes of cherry and licorice. The 70-year-old vines produce one of the most typical Morgon of its appellation. Marcel Lapierre is a benchmark for Morgon wines. For thirty years, Marcel and his son Mathieu have been working their vines organically. The aim is to produce wine that is as respectful as possible of fruit and terroir. As a result, the cuvées have little or no sulphur, and are full-bodied and slender. These great wines require the utmost attention to the quality of storage, even if we have chosen to market the cuvées very lightly sulfited to protect the wine during transport and while it is being stored at your home.
