The Domaine du Pre-Sémelé is located in Maimbray in the commune of Sury-en-Vaux, 5 km north of Sancerre. Cultivated by 2 brothers, Julien and Clément Raimbault, who run this organic estate, Domaine du Pré-Sémelé covers around 20 hectares. The estate has managed to remain family-run, and the definition of the wines has greatly improved in recent years thanks to a great deal of work in the vineyard: inter-row grassing and mechanical cultivation under the vines to force the roots to plunge deep into the soil.
