Eolienne rouge du Mas d'Espanet is made from the estate's old Grenache and Carignan vines. This full-bodied organic wine offers a superb array of small black fruits. Mas d'Espanet is a 20-hectare wine estate located in Saint-Mamet-du-Gard. Run by Agnès and Denys Armand, the estate uses biodynamic farming methods. As the terroir is fairly cool (close to a large 8-hectare wood), the wines of Mas d'Espanet possess excellent balance. As the prices of the Freesia cuvées, their entry-level wines, are very attractive, this is a profit. Guide des meilleurs vins de France 219 about Mas d'Espanet: "This beautiful estate of some twenty hectares is located in the commune of Saint-Mamert-du-Gard, halfway between Uzes and Sommières, on the edge of the new Duché d'Uzès appellation. Agnès and Denys Armand use biodynamic viticulture in a wild environment, on the edge of a vast wood of over 8 hectares. It's a very cool terroir, which explains why half the production is devoted to whites.

CloseL'équilibriste produced by Domaine d'Agarrus (Serge Scherrer) is a new cuvée produced by the estate. This organic wine from the Cévennes is a 100% Syrah with delicate floral aromas. A great success for this delicate natural wine.
CloseThe "Clos de la Févrie" from the domaine de la Haute Févrie is a cuvée made from very old vines planted on the estate's best terroirs. The oldest vines were planted in 1922 on the Coteaux de la Sèvre. This is a Muscadet Sèvre et Maine sur lie with a very powerful, generous body, extravert in flavor. The finish with lovely ripe bitters and praline nuances is particularly promising.
