Like the 2019, the 2022 vintage Autour de Jonquières du Mas Jullien is built for cellaring. Like all vintages, you'll have to be patient and wait a decade or so to enjoy this wine, which develops notes of red fruits and light spices. A benchmark for the region.

The Fergaria cuvée from the Domaine de Cébène has delicate smoky aromas that hint at the best that Mourvèdre can give on this schist terroir, with fruitiness that's not overly exuberant. Aromas of fruit (raspberry, blackcurrant), sweet, bewitching spices and hints of garrigue follow through on a smooth, silky palate. The whole is a prodigy of balance. This Lous Rougeos du Mas Jullien cuvée produces from the last arable land at the foot of the Larzac plateau at 400m altitude. A wine of balance and elegance, with a rare freshness for a Languedoc. It is accessible in its youth, but can be kept for up to ten years.
