The vines for this cuvée les Seuvrées du domaine Hubert Lignier were planted between 1938 and 1966. With a surface area of 1.02 hectares, this terroir lies below the Mazoyères Grands Crus and produces fleshy, subtle wines. With excellent ageing potential, it stands out as a Gevrey of character with a tender heart.
Petraea champagne is made according to a principle similar to that of Solera: each year, 25% of the last harvest is added. Thus, the wine is composed of all the preceding vintages, in decreasing proportion. This perpetual reserve began in 1997. Aromas of fruit, white flowers and spices. On the palate, the champagne is full and rich, powerful yet retaining a lovely freshness.

Trilogie du domaine Hubert Lignieris a grouping of 3 parcels. These three parcels, located north-south of the village on the edge of the 1ers Crus, produce small yields (30 hectoliters/ha on average) given the age of the vines. The wines are often colorful and fleshy, with good density. You'll need to wait a few years to fully appreciate them. They can also be kept for over 20 years.
This parcel les Bussières from the domaine Hubert Lignier comes from an area of 49 ares, on the edge of the Morey Saint Denis appellation.
