The fixin du domaine Jean Fournier is very successful: in this very northern appellation of the Côte de Nuits, Jean Fournier produces a powerful, characterful wine with good cellaring potential. It develops notes of red and black fruit, with a slightly spicy finish. Great value for money!

The Seul en Scène cuvée from domaine François Villard is a superb discovery. On the nose, the wine is an explosion of violets, directly announcing the Syrah. This is followed by notes of ripe fruit such as cherry and jammy strawberry. The palate is tender and suave with young but already velvety tannins.

Le Clos des Grives 2023 is the jewel of Domaine Combier — "the finest Syrah from Crozes-Hermitage," sourced from the vineyard’s oldest plot, planted in 1952.

The color is deep red with purplish highlights. The nose opens with blackberry, blackcurrant, and black cherry, accented by violet, black pepper, and fresh licorice. The palate is full-bodied and rich, with fine, silky tannins and a long, fresh, slightly salty finish. Serve at 17 °C; decant.

100% organic Syrah, old vines planted in 1952, on a clay-limestone plateau with rounded pebbles, Pont-de-l'Isère. Hand-harvested, fully destemmed; fermented for 25 days in stainless steel tanks; aged for 12 months in new oak barrels, followed by 12 months in bottle before release.

Aging potential: 10–15 years.

La cuvée Terres de la Crau du Clos du Calvaire is a parcel-based cuvée from the estate. It presents a varied palette of blackberry, rose and spice aromas. The palate is generous, with ripe black fruit aromas, coated tannins and a chocolate finish. A concentrated, generous wine that aptly highlights the terroirs of La Crau.

The Clos des Grives 2022 from Domaine Combier possesses superb balance. In this very attractive vintage, this long, complex and deep organic wine is one of the appellation's best representatives. It will require a few years to find balance and complexity. A vintage to be enjoyed over 7 to 10 years!

Sous la Tour is a magnificent pinot noir from Domaine Tissot: this spicy organic wine develops smoky, red fruit notes. The tannins are fine and silky. A pinot noir that makes many a Burgundy blush!

The Cuvée Puech Agut from Mas Haut-Buis is a superb 100% Grenache for gourmet consumption.

The Santenay 1er Cru "Les Gravières" from Domaines Ludovic Pierrot is an expressive, ruby-red wine. It offers a complex bouquet with red and black fruit aromas, often accompanied by floral and spice notes. Structured on the palate, it reveals fine, elegant tannins. A silky wine with good acidity that gives it a certain freshness.

A very great Priorat that takes on the airs of Chateauneuf-du-Pape, with fruit, spice, freshness and velvety tannins. A great bottle.

Les Terres de la Crau 2023 is Clos du Calvaire’s premier single-vineyard red wine—crafted from a single plot in the prestigious La Crau locality, featuring old-vine Grenache grown on rounded pebbles of Alpine diluvium. Dark fruits, sweet spices, silky tannins; will reach its peak in 2030.

This Daumas Gassac rouge is a great success from the 2023 vintage: this organic gourmet wine develops notes of mocha, blackcurrant, cocoa, all resting on very elegant, fine tannins. Great length!

Clos du Roy du domaine Jean Fournier comes from the appellation's northern parcels. A organic wine superb in this sunny vintage, with notes of black fruit, beautiful tannic structure and length.

Cornaline 2019 from domaine Hauvette, a complex and powerful organic wine that deserves a few years cellaring before tasting. The wine reveals notes of black fruit, garrigue, zan, licorice. Superb length.

The nose of this great Burgundy from the domaine Pavelot develops on notes of black fruits, blond tobacco. Round and silky on the palate, this wine is beautifully complex and well-balanced. A real treat!

The Volnay from domaine Chantal Lescure has become one of the appellation's benchmarks over the years. The domaine has a small production, so bottles are limited in number. You'll appreciate the complexity and intensity of the 2023, which will enable it to evolve favorably over 7 years.

The Gallet blanc du domaine François Villard is a superb Côte Rotie in a fine 2022 vintage. This wine develops aromas of red fruits, violets and pepper typical of Syrah. The cuvée village du Domaine Henri Gouges is made from a selection of 7 different terroirs, over 3 hectares. The estate's wines are frank and generous, but require a few years to come into their own, 5 to 7 years minimum for the villages. A magnificent bottle to cellar!
