With a surface area of 1.02 hectares, this terroir lies below the Mazoyères Grands Crus and produces fleshy, subtle wines. With excellent ageing potential, it stands out as a Gevrey of character with a tender heart.

Petraea champagne is made according to a principle similar to that of Solera: each year, 25% of the last harvest is added. Thus, the wine is composed of all the preceding vintages, in decreasing proportion. This perpetual reserve began in 1997. Aromas of fruit, white flowers and spices.
