The château’s style emphasizes elegance, balance, and proportion rather than power, grown on plateaus of asterian limestone and molasse in the Fronsac region. Émilien 2022 is the flagship wine of Château Le Puy: an organic and biodynamic red wine, a Vin de France from Saint-Cibard, east of Saint-Émilion, on a clay-limestone plateau. Blended from Merlot (85%), Cabernet Sauvignon, and a hint of Carménère, it offers juicy red fruit, a lively and taut palate, and a savory note. Aged for two years in large oak vats and then in barrels, without fining or filtration. L'Émilien is also featured in the manga *em* *Les Gouttes de Dieu* .
