Le Vin est une Fête 2023 stands out for its festive, convivial character. This red wine, from the Côtes du Marmandais appellation, is the fruit of a harmonious blend of grape varieties typical of the region.
This cuvée is made from a variety of grape varieties.
This cuvée is composed of 40% Abouriou, 40% Cabernet Franc and 20% Merlot. Abouriou, a grape variety native to the South-West, adds a fruity, spicy touch, while Cabernet Franc and Merlot contribute to the wine's structure and roundness.
The grapes are harvested from the vineyards of the Abouriou vineyard.
The grapes are harvested at optimum ripeness. Abouriou is vinified in whole bunches using the semi-carbonic maceration method, which preserves its bright fruitiness. The Cabernet Franc and Merlot grapes are destemmed before traditional maceration for 10 to 15 days in open concrete vats. Aging takes place over 10 months in foudres and barrels of several wines, followed by a month in concrete vats for perfect harmonization.

This wine has an intense ruby-red color, brilliant and limpid. On the nose, it reveals seductive aromas of red and black berries, accompanied by spicy notes and a subtle, well-integrated woody touch. On the palate, the attack is fresh and fruity, evolving towards a round, greedy texture. The tannins are delicate and offer an elegant structure. The finish is persistent, marked by fruity and spicy flavors.
"Le Vin est une Fête 2023" is the ideal companion for convivial moments. It's a pleasure to enjoy as an aperitif with friends, and goes perfectly with roast poultry, grilled duck breast, artisanal charcuterie dishes, or soft cheeses with a bloomy rind.

For optimal tasting, we recommend serving it between 16 and 18°C to fully appreciate its aromas and freshness. This wine can be enjoyed now for its fruity expression, but it also has an aging potential of 3 to 5 years.
The Domaine Elian Da Ros, founded by Elian Da Ros, extends over 22 hectares of vines cultivated organically since 2000 and biodynamically since 2002. The estate's philosophy is based on respect for the terroir and the enhancement of local grape varieties, thus offering authentic and expressive wines.
