Les Hauts de Husseau du Domaine de la Taille aux Loups is a magnificent dry Chenin. This cuvée has all the qualities of "Rémus", but with greater intensity, precision and fullness. TheDomaine de la Taille aux Loups is located on the banks of the Loire and Cher rivers, on south-facing limestone slopes. The estate extends over 25 hectares of very old Chenin vines, enabling us to produce sparkling, dry, semi-dry, sweet and sometimes syrupy wines from Vouvray and Montlouis-sur-Loire, with perfect respect for the vintage. The Domaine de la Taille aux Loups has been in organic conversion since 2012. The domaine is recognized as one of the very greats of the Loire, with the Guide Bettane et Dessauve awarding it the maximum rating of 5 stars. The cuvée d'automne du Domaine de la Pinte is a savagnin sous voile blended with a little chardonnay. This oxidative wine is a great success, developing on notes of walnut, hazelnut and white flowers. Superb length!

The cuvée Tradition rouge du domaine Richeaume reveals intense aromas of ripe black fruits, such as blackberry and blackcurrant, accompanied by subtle spicy notes and garrigue. On the palate, it is both powerful and elegant, with well-integrated tannins and long-lasting aromas. Cuvée Tradition is ideal with grilled meats, dishes in sauce or mature cheeses.

The 2022 vintage Les Dessous des dentelles de la Croix des pins is powerful and concentrated in this great vintage. Scents of garrigue, a delicate blend of rosemary and juniper, accompany aromas of cherry, prune and laurel sauce. But it's on the palate that this wine makes its mark, combining power and finesse, strength and suppleness of tannin. With great length and persistence, this vintage will delight all gourmets in love with this extraordinary terroir.

The cuvée Clos Michet parcellaire du Domaine de la Taille aux Loups is made exclusively from grapes harvested during a second pass through the vines, which Domaine de la Taille aux Loups has allowed to mature for longer. A Montlouis with good ageing potential, with more body than the Cuvée Rémus. A superb success!

The cuvée La Bretonnière from Domaine de la Taille aux Loups comes from vines on the right bank of the Loire. For recent administrative reasons, the Vouvray AOC is no longer possible for this wine, as it is vinified in Montlouis! It is therefore presented to you as a simple Vin de France. The result is exceptional, as is often the case with Jacky Blot wines!

Triple Zéro du Domaine de la Taille aux Loups is the benchmark bubbly on Montlouis. This grand chenin is not dosed. The result is an airy, complex bubble that needs a few years to fully reveal itself. Worthy of a very good champagne. Guide des meilleurs vins de France 2017 : 15/20
