Les Ouvrées du Clos de la Barthassade is a wine for great ageing, to be drunk over 10 years! Made from 50% Syrah, this wine is aged for 20 months in demi-muids, barrels and concrete eggs. The nose is already open, with notes of black fruit, spices and a hint of menthol. The palate is full-bodied, long and complex, with diabolical balance. It develops on notes of black fruit, roasting and spices, finishing on balsamic notes. A magnificent cuvée that rivals the appellation's best. Magnificent!

Here's a very pretty organic Lalande-de-Pomerol in a very sunny and powerful 2022 vintage. Château des Annereaux produces a wine with a fruity, harmonious attack. The elegant tannins are present but silky. The aromatic palette is marked by fruitiness and a restrained, mellow woodiness. Superb length. Elegance and balance rare in modern Bordeaux. We love this wine of character and elegance.

Chante Coucou 2022 from domaine Elian Da Ros is a sure bet in this vintage. The wine has a beautiful structure and develops on notes of red fruits, spices, licorice. Superb length. The Costancia cuvée from la Ferme Saint-Martin is a great Beaume de Venise from the estate's highest plots. This organic wine has a typical Syrah nose, with notes of pepper, violets and spices. The palate is dense and fleshy, with good amplitude. One year's ageing in oak barrels adds a touch of finesse

The Pécharmant cuvée Abbaye from domaine de l'ancienne Cure is the estate's finest cuvée. The nose develops on toasty notes from the barrels and black fruits. The palate is complex, with notes of blackcurrant, strawberry, raspberry and cherry, plus a few hints of vanilla and toast. The body is silky, even if the wine has a fine tannic structure.

This Haut-Medoc du Château Mille Roses comes from 4 parcels classified as Haut-médoc around the Château . The soils are composed of fine, deep gravel. The majority of Merlot grapes give the wine a gourmet flavour, enhanced by silky, elegant tannins. A balanced, fine style, in line with the Margaux produced by the same Château.
