An excellent vineyard located opposite the Chateau St George that gives its name to the appellation. Great value with consistent quality far exceeding many St Emilion wines. The 2020 vintage shows great promise but will benefit from keeping another couple of years. I look forward to trying the 2022 vintage as soon as it is released.
The cuvée Eclat de Granite du domaine Sérol is a magnificent Gamay, radiant as its name suggests. Supple, gourmand and juicy, this organic wine is a benchmark of the Côte Roannaise.

The cuvée les Estaillades from domaine de la Ferme Saint-Martin is a magnificent Ventoux: the powerful nose develops notes of red fruit, kirch and licorice. The palate is fresh, with licorice and menthol aromas, supported by perfectly integrated tannins. Great length!
