Cerasuolo di Vittoria, the first and currently only DOCG in Sicily, has a strong, ancient tradition and owes its identity to the combination of the strength of Nero d'Avola and the sweetness of Frappato. It's a complex, long and elegant wine, which develops on notes of spice and red fruit. The structure is there, but the tannins are silky, as with all the wines in the range.
