The Domaine Hubert Lignier is a winery located in Morey-Saint-Denis, Burgundy. It is run by Laurent Lignier, who took over the family business in 2006. The domaine cultivates 12 hectares of vines, spread over 20 parcels. The vines are planted with 100% Pinot Noir. Renowned for its wines of great finesse and respect for tradition, this house produces organic wines from vines planted on prestigious terroirs, notably in Gevrey-Chambertin, Morey-Saint-Denis and Chambolle-Musigny.

This Charme-Chambertin from the domaine Hubert Lignier comes from a 10-acre plot on lieu dit Mazoyères haut, a vineyard planted in 1948.The soil is deeper than Clos de la Roche, composed of clay-limestone, sand. The vineyard is located next to Les Combottes, south of Les Charmes Chambertin. The wines are distinguished by floral fragrances, often elegant and fine, but also retaining a power and length on the palate worthy of a rather charming Grand Cru.
