Tournée Générale from domaine Ollier Taillefer is a sulfur-free Faugères. Supple, greedy and powerful, it's a great success. A natural wine without the possible defects of natural wines.
The Fergaria cuvée from the Domaine de Cébène has delicate smoky aromas that hint at the best that Mourvèdre can give on this schist terroir, with fruitiness that's not overly exuberant. Aromas of fruit (raspberry, blackcurrant), sweet, bewitching spices and hints of garrigue follow through on a smooth, silky palate. The whole is a prodigy of balance. Felgaria will be enjoyed with relish in its youth, but it's also a wine for great cellaring.
