The cuvée Peyrouzelles du domaine Causse Marine is a superb red wine. This biodynamic wine develops on notes of black fruit, sloe. The palate is silky, greedy, juicy and beautifully toned. Patrice Lescarret, a leading figure in natural wines from the South-West, began making wine on his Causse Marine estate in 1993. His vines are organically grown, and his wines are free of any inputs apart from the occasional small dose of sulfur. The vines are 50 years old and situated on limestone Causse. All the vines are planted in a single block around the estate.
